Two people have been arrested after a shotgun and ammunition were seized from a house in Tallaght yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí in Tallaght seized the items after carrying out the search of a house in Rossfield Park in Tallaght at around 4pm yesterday.
A woman in her 30s was arrested at the house and was held for questioning under the Offences Against the State Act at Tallaght Garda Station.
She was later released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
A second person, a man in his 30s, was arrested in the Tallaght area last night and is currently being held under the same legislation at the same station
